Jonathan Larsen is the Country Business Manager (CBM) and CEO for Citibank Singapore Limited. Mr. Larsen is responsible for Citibank’s consumer franchise in Singapore including branch-based banking operations, investment, deposit and insurance products, personal loans, mortgages, auto finance, the CitiGold Wealth Management Banking, CitiBanking and CitiBusiness franchise, as well as the Citibank’s credit card and ready credit businesses.

Mr. Larsen was formerly head of Retail Banking for Citibank in Asia Pacific, responsible for Citibank’s retail business in 12 countries across the region. He is also a key player in developing wealth management product and solutions for customers under the CitiGold Wealth Management Banking brand as well as broadening Citibank’s reach into the mass market through the bank’s CitiBanking proposition to meet the changing financial needs of Asia’s middle class.

Mr. Larsen was also Head of Business Development for Citibank in Asia Pacific and also extensively involved in developing Citigroup’s franchise in the region through acquisition. He was Citigroup’s principle representative in negotiating and executing the $2.7Bn acquisition of Koram Bank in Korea. He has also led a wide range of other transactions over recent years including Citigroup’s landmark strategic cooperation agreement with, and investment in, the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, as well as the acquisition of the Diner Club of Japan Inc.

Prior to joining Citibank, Mr. Larsen spent eight years with the global management consultancy firm Booz, Allen & Hamilton where he was a Principle in the firm’s Financial Service Group. While at Booz, Allen, he advised major financial institutions across Asia, Europe and the United States on a wide range of large-scale strategic and operational engagements. Prior to working with Booz, Allen, Mr. Larsen worked in variety positions within the Insurance and Banking operations of the National Mutual Group in Australia and New Zealand (now part of AXA).

Mr. Larsen is regularly quoted in leading business media (CNBC, Bloomberg, Asiaweek, Far Eastern Economic Review, Financial Times, and local business publications across Asia).

Mr. Larsen holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (First Class) from the University of Melbourne.

在加入花旗银行之前,拉森先生曾在全球性管理咨询公司Booz, Allen & Hamilton 工作过八年,是该公司“财务服务集团”的负责人之一。在Booz, Allen期间,他曾就一系列内容广泛的大规模战略性运作项目,为亚洲、欧洲及美国的各大金融机构提供咨询。在加盟Booz,Allen之前,拉森先生曾在业务遍及澳大利亚和新西兰的“全国互惠集团”(现属于AXA 的一部分)属下的保险及银行部门担任各种职位。
